Dr. Shawn Johnson, Executive Director
Dr. Shawn Johnson began his career with the Charleston County School District in 2006 as a second-grade teacher at C.C. Blaney Elementary School, where he served for three years before joining Charleston Development Academy. He has dedicated more than 20 years to the CDA community, including the past 12 years as Executive Director.
Dr. Johnson is committed to academic excellence, student achievement, and creating a safe, nurturing school environment. Under his leadership, CDA continues to promote excellence, character development, and the personal and social growth of motivated, responsible, and caring scholars.
